Der blaue Zug

Adjectives have different endings depending on the gender of the noun they describe, and depending on whether they come after a der‑type word or an ein‑type word.

Der blaue Zug ist groß. The blue train is big.	Mein blauer Zug ist groß. My blue train is big.
Die schwarze Katze ist laut. The black cat is loud.	Meine schwarze Katze ist laut. My black cat is loud.
Das bunte Kleid ist klein. The colorful dress is small.	Mein buntes Kleid ist klein. My colorful dress is small.
Die weißen Blumen sind schön. The white flowers are pretty.	Meine weißen Blumen sind schön. My white flowers are pretty.

Den blauen Zug

When something uses the accusative case, the endings change for masculine words.

Er geht um den blauen Zug. He goes around the blue train.	Er geht um meinen blauen Zug. He goes around my blue train.
Ich sehe die schwarze Katze. I see the black cat.	Ich sehe meine schwarze Katze. I see my black cat.
Sie trägt das bunte Kleid. She wears the colorful dress.	Sie trägt ein buntes Kleid. She wears a colorful dress.
Das Wasser ist für die weißen Blumen. The water is for the white flowers.	Das Wasser ist für meine weißen Blumen. The water is for my white flowers.

And when you’re using the dative case, all the adjectives end in ‑en! Easy‑peasy.
