I can German speak!
If your sentence has two verbs, like I should go or They must sleep, the second verb goes all the way to the end!
Ich höre dich nicht.
I do not hear you.
Ich kann dich nicht hören.
I cannot hear you.
Notice that the second verb is in the infinitive form, the one that ends with ‑en!
Er sagt, dass...
The word order changes a little more when we add words like dass, wenn, or weil! After this, your main verb (the one that changes form!) gets bumped to the end.
Er kann nicht kommen.
He cannot come.
Wenn er nicht kommen kann, gehen wir nicht.
If he cannot come, we don't go.
