En español decimos el más alto. En inglés dirías the tallest.
tall → the tallest.
Cuando agregas ‑est, la ortografía puede cambiar como cuando agregas ‑er. Si la palabra ya termina con ‑e, solo necesitas agregar ‑st.
nice → the nicest
Si una palabra termina con consonante‑vocal‑consonante, duplica la última letra.
big → the biggest
Por último, si una palabra termina con ‑y, ¡cambia la y por una i antes de agregarle ‑est!
easy → the easiest
More vs. most
Ya vimos que para los adjetivos que tienen más de una sílaba, como expensive, usarías more expensive para decir más caro.
De manera parecida, para decir cosas como el más caro puedes usar the most más el adjetivo.

Ellos son la banda más famosa del Reino Unido.

Good es muy especial cuando se trata de comparar cosas.
big → bigger → the biggest
interesting → more interesting → the most interesting

interesting → more interesting → the most interesting
