Vamos falar sobre frases condicionais!
Em português, nós dizemos: Se eu trabalhasse, eu ganharia dinheiro. Em inglês, se diz: If I worked, I would earn money.
If I went to Boston, I would visit you.
If you went later, we would go with you.
Para falar sobre o passado em português, nós diríamos: Se você tivesse vindo, você nos teria visto. Em inglês, se diz: If you had come, you would have seen us!
If you had asked, I would have told you.
If we hadn’t eaten, we would have been hungry.
