Let's talk about Past Tense!
The verbs ser, ir, dar, and ver have irregular forms in the preterite. Ser and ir have the exact same forms!
Some verbs use a different set of endings in the preterite.

| tú | tuviste |
| él / ella / usted | tuvo |
| nosotros / nosotras | tuvimos |
| ellos / ellas / ustedes | tuvieron |
Verbs that use these endings also have changes in their base!
