Subj 1

Let’s talk about the Subjunctive!
The subjunctive is a special verb form you have to use in certain phrases, like when saying what you want someone to do. For regular verbs, just change the vowel in the ending to ‑e for ‑ar verbs, and to ‑a for ‑er and ‑ir verbs.
Tú hablas español.
You speak Spanish.
Quiero que tú hables francés.
I want you to speak French.
You have to use the subjunctive in phrases where you want or hope for something, and in many expressions with es...que, such as:
quiero que
espero que
es importante que
es recomendable que
es urgente que
