Let's talk about the Subjunctive!
Use the subjunctive after cuando, en cuanto, and una vez que to talk about future events.
Cuando yo viaje a España, visitaré Madrid.
When I travel to Spain, I’ll visit Madrid.
Me sentiré mejor una vez que esté en casa.
I’ll feel better once I’m home.
Prepararé la cena en cuanto esté en casa.
I'll prepare dinner as soon as I'm home.
But to talk about habits, use the regular present tense!
Cuando yo viajo a España, siempre visito Madrid.
When I travel to Spain, I always visit Madrid.
