Numbers
Numbers 300 to 999 are formed by combining a multiple of one hundred with another number.
¿Necesitas ochocientos cincuenta dólares?
Do you need eight hundred fifty dollars?
After 1000, you need to add mil (thousand).
En el año mil ochocientos cuarenta ellos vivieron en España.
In the year eighteen forty they lived in Spain.
Practiqué deportes en la escuela
If a verb ends in ‑car, like practicar or buscar, its yo form will end in ‑qué in the past.
Nunca practiqué béisbol.
I never practiced baseball.
Toqué la guitarra en la escuela.
I played the guitar at school.
