When you want to say something politely, you can use verb forms like tu voudrais, tu pourrais, and tu devrais! Take a look at the ending pattern:

Ne travaille pas autant !
When you are comparing equal amounts, you can say autant de… que.
Tu as autant de stylos que de crayons.
You have as many pens as pencils.
You can also use autant when it's not a comparison:
Ne mange pas autant !
Don't eat so much!

Words that describe a verb (like souvent, peut‑être, aussi, etc.) are usually placed after the verb!
Il étudie, mais il travaille aussi.
He studies, but he also works.
Nous allons souvent au cinéma.
We often go to the movies.
Tu veux peut‑être sortir ?
Do you perhaps want to go out?
