Ouch!
Remember, verbs like se blesser or se couper use être in the passé composé. And they change depending on gender and number!
Nous nous sommes brûlés.
We got burned.
Elle s'est blessée.
She got hurt.
But if you know exactly which body part was affected, there's no ending changes!
Ils se sont coupé les cheveux.
They cut their hair.
Elle s'est brûlé la main.
She burned her hand.
I broke my leg!
Some verbs can be used with or without se! If you use se, the action is done to yourself. If there's no se, the action is done to something else.
Elle a coupé la viande.
She cut the meat.
Elle s'est coupée.
She cut herself.
Il s'est cassé les jambes.
He broke his legs.
