Breakfast
Du thé ou du café ?
Some nouns are uncountable — you don't put a number before them. For example, we generally say I want some honey, not I want one honey.
In French, you always need du, de la, or des before those uncountable nouns!
Je prends du sucre avec mon café.
I take sugar with my coffee.
J'achète des pâtes.
I buy pasta.
Tu veux du vin ?
Do you want some wine?
J'adore le chocolat !
Remember, when you're talking about things you like (or don't like!), you should always use le, la, or les.
Il adore le chocolat.
He loves chocolate.
