Often, the final letter of a word is silent, especially if it's an s or t. For example, suis or chat.

J'habite à Paris !

French has two words for in. You'll use à with cities but en with many countries.

J'habite à Paris.

I live in Paris.

J'habite en France.

I live in France.

Spelling
