When you know, you know

Savoir is used to talk about knowing facts, information, or skills. You'll use connaître for knowing people or places.

Je sais parler espagnol.

I know how to speak Spanish.

Je connais Marie.

I know Marie.

In English, we can say I think this movie is good. In French, after je pense, you usually need to add que!

Je pense que ce film est intéressant.

I think (that) this movie is interesting.

Nous pensons que ce groupe est génial.

We think (that) this band is great.

Ils pensent que ce film est meilleur !

They think (that) this movie is better!

My "friend"...

Notice that copain and copine can mean both friend or boyfriend / girlfriend!

Tu vas au cinéma avec tes copains.

You're going to the movie theater with your (boy)friends.

Je sors avec ma copine !

I'm going out with my (girl)friend.
