Friends 2

Tu me comprends ?
In English, words like me come after the verb (for example, Can you hear me?), but in French they come before the verb!
Elle me parle.
She is talking to me.
Elle te parle.
She is talking to you.
Elle nous parle.
She is talking to us.
Elle vous parle.
She is talking to you (all).
Mes amis me connaissent bien.
My friends know me well.
On adore la musique !
On is an informal way to say we. The verb form is the same as for il and elle!
On adore la musique !
We love music!
On voyage ensemble.
We travel together.
On est ici !
We are here!
Je sais que c'est ton anniversaire !
In English, we might say I don't know where the hotel is. French is very similar! But you put the verb right after words where, when, etc.
Vous savez où est l'hôtel ?
Do you know where the hotel is?
Vous savez à quelle heure est le petit déjeuner ?
Do you know what time breakfast is?
Nous savons quand part le train.
We know when the train is leaving.
J'aime Alice !
The verb aimer means to like with things and to love with people! To say that you like a person, use aimer bien!
J'aime ta robe !
I like your dress!
J'aime ma femme.
I love my wife.
J'aime bien Sophie.
I like Sophie.
