To talk about the past in French with ‑erverbs, first use a form of avoir and then change the next verb ending to ‑é.
Nous avons acheté une voiture.
We bought a car.
Tuas visité ce musée.
You visited this museum.
Ils ont aimé ton gâteau.
They liked your cake.
The big, the bad, the blue...
In English, we can say I like the blue shirt or, more simply, I like the blue one. French is similar! But instead of the blue one, you'd just say the blue. Make sure to adjust for the noun'sgender and number!
