Greetings

I'm the same
You’ve seen that です [desu] can mean it's, she's, and he's. The same word can also mean I'm!
けんです
[Ken desu]
I'm Ken. / He's Ken.
R‑E‑S‑P‑E‑C‑T
When you address someone, you use the title さん [san] after their name to show respect. When you use this with somebody's first name, it doesn't have a translation in English.
けんさん、こんにちは。
[Ken‑san, konnichiwa]
Hello, Ken.
Notice that greetings like hello and bye often come before the name in English, but after it in Japanese.
