Keep in mind that when you use the plural, everything must match!

Our skirts are new.
How do you wear it?
To say to wear in Portuguese, you can say usar or vestir.
Bruno veste um terno.
Bruno wears a suit.
Note that the e in vestir is replaced with i in eu visto.
Eu visto uma jaqueta.
I wear a jacket.
A mulher usa um vestido.
The woman wears a dress.
When you are talking about shoes or socks, you can use usar or calçar.
O homem usa sapatos.
The man wears shoes.
Nós calçamos nossas meias.
We wear our socks.
Ela bota a bota
To say put on, you can use botar.
Ela bota o vestido.
She puts on the dress.
You can also use calçar to say put on, but it is a little more specific — you can only use it with socks or shoes.
Ela calça o meu sapato.
She puts on my shoes.
