Verbs: Phrasal Future Tense

What the future holds
In English, we say I'm going to drink coffee. To talk about the future in Portuguese, you can do the same thing!
Just use the forms of ir you've already seen followed by an infinitive (the form that ends with ‑ar, ‑er, or ‑ir)!
Eu vou pagar.
I'm going to pay.
O que você vai beber?
What are you going to drink?
Just keep in mind that there’s no word between ir and the infinitive!
There is going to be food
Speaking of the future! You can say there is going to be or there are going to be just using vai haver!
Vai haver comida.
There is going to be food.
Vai haver jogo.
There is going to be a game.
