Preposition Contractions 3

Word smooshing
Remember how you can smoosh short words together in Portuguese? The word de combines with aqui, and it turns into daqui.
Você é daqui?
Are you from here?
And the word a combines with onde becoming aonde.
Aonde ele vai?
Where is he going? (Literal: To where is he going?)
Here's more smooshing: the word de combines with ali to form dali.
Dali ela vai para casa.
From there she goes home.
So what?
Last smooshing example: the word combines with de. The combination daí by itself means from there.
O que você vê daí?
What do you see from there?
And the expression E daí? means So what?
E daí?
So what?
