Express yourself!
Always use the verb expressar with small words like se or me.
Ela se expressou bem.
She expressed herself well.
Eu acho que não me expressei bem.
I think I did not express myself well.
Tomei um suco ou um banho?
You can use tomar for a number of activities in Portuguese. It doesn't always mean to drink!
Ele tomou suco de laranja.
He had orange juice.
Eu tomei um banho rápido.
I took a quick shower.
Nasceu!
In English, we say I was born or she was born, but in Portuguese, you just need the verb nascer!
Nasceu uma criança!
A child was born!
