Future Subjunctive
If…
To talk about future events that will happen when or if something else happens, connect two sentences with expressions like quando, se, and depois que.
Se chover, eu não vou.
If it rains, I will not go.
Comeremos quando ele chegar.
We will eat when he arrives.
Só ficarei melhor depois que eu dormir.
I will only get better after I sleep.
A special future ahead
We've already seen that you can add the special endings ‑ei, ‑á, ‑emos, or ‑ão to any verb to talk about future events.
Jogaremos depois que ele dormir.
We will play after he goes to sleep.
Se ele parar de trabalhar, não ganhará dinheiro.
If he stops working, he will not earn money.
But after quando, se, and depois que, the future forms are a little different.
Conversaremos quando nos encontrarmos.
We will talk when we meet.

Ficar ou não ficar?
The verb ficar has two meanings: to get or to be as in ficar melhor, and to stay like in ficar aqui.
Ficarei feliz se você ficar.
I will be glad if you stay.
E se ela ficar em um hotel?
What if she stays in a hotel?
