Eu seria feliz!
What would you do? To talk about future possibilities or something that would be, add ‑ia to a verb.
Ela seria minha amiga.
She would be my friend.
Eu adoraria ver você.
I would love to see you.
If more than one person would do something, add ‑iam instead.
Eles teriam mais amigos.
They would have more friends.
Elas beberiam vinho.
They would drink wine.
Eu ficaria feliz!
We've already seen that ficar is a very common verb with multiple meanings. Add ‑ia to it to talk about things that would be or places you would stay.
Ele ficaria feliz em ouvir isso.
He would be happy to hear that.
Eu ficaria neste hotel até semana que vem.
I would stay in this hotel until next week.
The plural still ends in ‑iam for ficar.
Eles ficariam felizes em te ver.
They would be happy to see you.

Verbs that end in ‑zer like fazer, dizer, and trazer, lose their ‑ze‑ when adding ‑ia or ‑iam.
Quando eles fariam isso?
When would they do that?
Eu não diria nada para ele.
I would not say anything to him.
Mais dinheiro me traria felicidade.
More money would bring me happiness.
