完 (wán) for finishing something
To talk about finishing something, add (wán, finish) after the verb.
喝完你的咖啡。
(Qǐng hē wán nǐ de kāfēi.) Please finish drinking your coffee.
In the example above, the action hasn’t actually happened yet. If you want to talk about something that’s already finished, say 完了!
我吃完了早饭。
(Wǒ chī wán le zǎofàn.) I’ve finished eating breakfast.
Remember to always add a verb before !
吃完了吗?
(Nǐ chī wán le ma?) Have you finished eating?
我已经看完了这本书。
(Wǒ yǐjīng kàn wán le zhè běn shū.) I have already finished reading this book.
Delicious!
To say that something is delicious or tastes good, say (hǎo, good) before (chī, eat) or before (hē, drink)!
我觉得北京菜很好吃
(Wǒ juéde Běijīng cài hěn hǎochī.) I think Beijing food is delicious.
那里的咖啡好喝
(Nàli de kāfēi hǎohē.) The coffee there is tasty.
