Verb + 一 + Verb
You’ve seen that a verb can be repeated (e.g., 我随便看看) to show a brief, casual action. You can also sometimes add 一 between the verbs to express that same idea.
你可以帮我拿一拿行李吗?
(Nǐ kéyǐ bāng wǒ ná yi ná xínglǐ ma?) Could you help me take my luggage for a moment?
我去看一看。
(Wǒ qù kàn yi kàn.) I will go look (for a moment).
你想试一试吗?
(Ní xiǎng shì yi shì ma?) Do you want to try (for a moment)?
Read it out loud!
To say out loud in Chinese, you can add 出来 (chūlái, out; out loud) after the verb.

(Nǐ kéyǐ dú chūlái ma?) Can you read it out loud?
我不想说出来。
(Wǒ bùxiǎng shuō chūlái.) I don’t want to say it out loud.
You can also use 拿出来 to say take out. If you’re taking something out, you can put that something in between 出 (chū, out) and 来 (lái, come).
请你拿出地图来。
(Qíng nǐ ná chū dìtú lái.) Please take the map out.
为 (wèi) to say “for”
You’ve already learned to use 为 to say sentences like 别为那个担心.

You can also use
为 when you do something for someone! Just use 为 before that someone, then add the verb afterwards.
